| Father's Network |
Our mission is to celebrate and support fathers and families raising children with special health care needs and developmental disabilities. Meetings for the South King County Father's Network are held at Children's Therapy Center in Kent. For more information, please contact Jason Maji at (425) 766-7479. |
| "Sensory Friendly" Movies at the AMC in Kent Station |
Special "sensory friendly" accomodations are being made at the AMC in Kent Station. Once a month, the AMC in Kent Station will be showing a children's movie in this special format. The volume will be lower, the lights will be higher, there will be no previews, and the "Silence is Golden" rule will not be enforced. Please request the "sensory friendly" showing when purchasing tickets. We will post these showings on our Calendar of Events as they are announced. | The Bouncy Place Special Needs Night: |
The fourth Thursday of every month is Special Needs Night at the Bouncy Place in Kent, WA from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Cost is $5.00 plus tax per child. A great way to have fun, especially during those rainy winter months! Check our Calendar of Events. |

| Playtime Pals! |
|
Accompany your child to South King Intervention Program’s (SKIP) preschool to enjoy time together singing, learning, getting messy and playing an inclusive class led by an early childhood specialist. Each day will include activity centers, table time, circle time and snack. Children will develop friendships with a wide variety of peers, some of whom have special needs. Parents will appreciate the opportunity to discuss developmental issues with the teacher and other parents.
Playtime Pals are held at our main Kent location and Highline satellite located at Woodside Elementary for children ages 18 to 36 months. Pre-registration is required. You can also register for Playtime Pals through Kent Parks & Recreation, Burien Parks and Recreation, and Des Moines Parks & Recreation. |
